ALL SCHOOL PARADE FOR PICNIC SATURDAY 9/14
The school parade will kick off the start of Saturday’s picnic festivities. We are starting the parade at 09:30 am and having students arrive around 9:10 am on the soccer field. Children will be organized into their classes on the field. Please allow yourself plenty of extra time to ensure parking: (Teachers/volunteers will walk with each class while parents line route in lawn chair below)
There will be a firetruck and float to start then the following classes will be grouped together behind their banner. Please dress according to your class theme (see below).
PreK3 and PreK4 Class Theme: Stuffed Animals! We encourage all students to bring their favorite stuffed animal to carry during the parade and wear their class shirt if available. All students will also be given a balloon to carry.
Kindergarten/1 st Grade Class Theme: Sunshine/rainbows/butterflies! We encourage all students to dress in theme. Ideas include bright yellow- or rainbow-colored clothes, butterfly wings, etc.
2nd and 3rd Grade theme: ANIMALS! We encourage all students to dress like any animal they prefer. Ideas include animal ears, prints, costumes, etc.
4th and 5th grade Class Theme: NAUTICAL! We encourage all students to dress to theme. Ideas include red, white, navy, or striped apparel; captains’ hats, braided ropes, anchors, etc.
6th and 7 th Grade Theme: “Getting Wiggy With It”! We encourage all students to dress in theme by wearing any fun wig of their choice and neon color clothing.
8th Grade Class Theme: Sacred Heart Spirit! We encourage all students to dress in SHVP apparel/school spirit. Ideas include SHVP spirit wear, red and white pom poms/beads/face paint etc. Bring posters, decorate your cars, blast music, and represent the school for your last parade! If available, we also encourage riding in convertibles/jeeps/truck beds during the parade!

PARENTS: Please bring your lawn chairs and line the following route path with yourself, your family, grandparents, aunts/ uncles / friends to make the kiddos feel special and seen!
Place your chairs on: ANN AVENUE STARTING FROM SOCCER FIELD DOWN TO DIDIAN AND THEN DIDIAN TO FOREST
